Made in Poland, Eurosonic nylon bass strings have been around for many years in Europe, and are highly regarded. They've only been marketed in the US for a few years. The strings are a world apart in engineering and construction from solid nylon strings - "Weedwacker" type. Bassists who've tried wound nylon strings such as Supernil and Innovation will find the Eurosonic White strings offer a great left-hand feel, ample sustain and good response. Most synthetic strings are marketed as "like gut", and these do have an expansive, warm, fat sound with low tension, like gut strings, with a little more clarity. They also seem to be fairly long-wearing, and the manufacturing quality is very high - the strings are beautifully made and well finished. A great choice for bluegrass, slap and acoustic jazz!
